For many a western elk hunt can be a once in a life time event. Take it from someone who has hunted elk for 25+ years. If you want to maximize your chances for success, your absolute best chance is to hunt with someone who knows the land and how the elk use that land....that's an outfitter.
While most outfitters are hard working reputable individuals, not all outfitters are equal. Just like any other profession, some are better than others...and some are at the very top of their game. This is the outfitter you want for that once in a lifetime hunt.
Outfitters who are at the very top charge the same fees as outfitters who are not. So why would anyone settle for less that the best?
At Hunt Connections, we know and work with some of the very best elk hunting outfitters. That is the value of our service. Call us.
I've been chasing elk for almost 25 years and I've killed my share. Rarely does a season go by that I don't hear someone talk about luck in reference to their elk hunting....usually bad luck. When was the last time you heard some who downed a nice bull lay it off on his or her luck. Never! You hear about skill, stealth, practice, patience and perseverance. If you boil all that down, it comes to ...planning. I for one just do not believe in luck. Life is what we make it. Seems like those who do the most planning have the best luck??? Just saying.....
